We always strive for the fastest delivery possible. We will email you the estimated delivery date the day after receiving payment for your order. You will be contacted with the exact day of delivery in due course by a member of our staff.

Delivery Terms:

  • Delivery Address: The buyer must provide an accurate delivery address.
  • Proof of Identity: Valid ID is required for in-person collection.
  • Delivery to Others: The seller may deliver to others at the address if the buyer is unavailable.
  • Delivery Locations: We deliver to residential addresses, businesses, and construction sites that can be safely reached by our/courier vehicles.
  • Accessibility: Please ensure there’s enough space for our large delivery vehicles (at least 2.4 meters wide and 3 meters high) to access your location easily. The path should be clear, wide, and on a hard, level surface like concrete or asphalt. We cannot deliver to grassy or inclined areas.
  • Kerbside Delivery: Our drivers will deliver your order to the kerbside or nearest accessible point on your property.
  • No Placement of Goods: This service does not include carrying or placing items inside buildings, on balconies, in gardens, or any other location beyond the kerbside delivery point.
  • Delivery Obstacles: The buyer must inform the seller of any delivery obstacles affecting the method or price.
  • Approximate Delivery Times: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances.
  • Delays: The seller is not liable for delays caused by third parties.
  • Inspection and Acceptance: The buyer must inspect goods upon delivery and note any damage or non-conformity on the delivery document.
  • Risk Transfer: The risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery.

Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive and unload your order. If the buyer fails to take delivery of the goods within a reasonable time, the seller may store the goods at the buyer’s expense and risk. The seller reserves the right to refuse delivery to any location deemed unsafe or inaccessible. Acceptance of the goods without noting any issues on the delivery document constitutes acceptance of the goods in their delivered condition.

Delivery Price:

  • Standard Delivery: We charge £0.80 per mile for one-way delivery. For example, a 100-mile delivery would cost £80 + VAT. The exact delivery fee will be calculated automatically during checkout.
  • Local Delivery: If you live within 30 miles of our warehouse, we offer a flat delivery fee of £40 + VAT.
  • Free Collection: You’re also welcome to collect your order in person from our warehouse at no charge.

Returns:

Customers placing orders online at www.timbersol.co.uk or over the phone have the right to cancel their order for a full refund (excluding delivery charges) up to 14 days after receiving their delivery or collecting their order. This is in accordance with the Distant Selling Regulations.

To be eligible for a refund, the goods must not have been installed, must be returned undamaged in their original packaging (if applicable), and must be in a condition suitable for resale. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
